In The Beginning

L|NK began his career in 2017 with the Youtube channel "Linky Dink". The first video uploaded to the channel was titled "Victory-A Linky Dink Original". The song was a simple 8-bit inspired EDM song. L|NK reguards it as "One of the worst pieces of music from back then. Like.. Even the song I released next on the SAME DAY was better sounding. However I will give myself some leniency because I definately did not know what I was doing back then."

Animated Music Videos

After a while, L|NK kept making music and branching out to different genres. This lead him to start his journey as a music producer and vocalist. Now having lyrical content in his videos, an ache for something physical to be happening while the music was playing became prevalent. This ultimately culminated in his collaboration with the animator PotOfDoodles. Which resulted in the "Space Depression Music Video", weird but catchy lyrics accompanied by an endlessly spinning T-Posing dude in the middle of space. L|NK & PotOfDoodles since then have been collaborating many times such as the music videos For "Signal" and "Don't Feed The Pigeons".

Evolving A Brand

L|NK was not always known as L|NK, once upon a time their artist name was the same as the youtube channel they appeared on. In the earliest uploads of L|NK's music online LINKY DINK was plastered on every music video. This was QUICKLY corrected later as he came to his senses and realize it was too long and redundant to name every video he channels name. That is when L|NK decided to drop the "Y & Dink" from his artist name. However the other LINKYDINK branding is still around for every other facet of L|NK's
